Britt Rentschler is an award-winning actor, filmmaker, and creative coach whose work spans independent film, television, major motion pictures, and original content creation. She is best known for her roles in the Emmy-nominated and Sundance alum Uncle Frank (Amazon), Instant Family (Paramount), and the SXSW Audience Award-winning Pretty Problems. Britt co-wrote, produced, and starred in Pretty Problems, which also garnered the Sonoma International Film Festival Jury Award and the Maui Film Festival Audience Choice Award. Her television credits include appearances on Shots Fired (FOX), The Detour (TBS), Lodge 49 (AMC), Long Slow Exhale (Spectrum), Instant Mom (Nickelodeon), Castle (ABC), Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime), Daytime Divas (VH1), SIX (A&E), The Resident (FOX), and NCIS: LA (CBS).

A graduate of the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre and University of Central Florida's MFA Acting program, Britt's passion for storytelling was ignited in her youth and has since evolved into a multifaceted career. She is a member of MENSA, Women in Film, and serves as a practicing Reiki Master and artistic coach, working with a diverse range of clients from Academy Award-winning actors to emerging talent. Britt continues to develop character-rich, genre-fluid work that pushes boundaries and invites conversation.

As a dynamic performer and queer filmmaker with a sharp comedic voice and a passion for character-driven work, her artistry spans both sides of the camera. Britt’s performances and filmmaking have earned critical praise from outlets like Forbes, Variety, Deadline, Buffalo Spree, IndieWire, NPR, and The New York Times. Whether crafting her own projects or elevating others’, Britt brings a rare blend of wit, warmth, and bite.
